Ethan De Aguiar, Founder
A self-proclaimed “ARTrepreneur” & New Bedford native, Ethan de Aguiar is an experienced filmmaker, with a laser focus on the art of storytelling. He brings the essence of the subject matter to life with cinematic visuals that create a unique experience for audiences.

Vincente DiSanti, Technical Director
Vincente DiSanti is an award-winning director and producer best known for the indie horror hit Never Hike Alone. In 2016, he founded Womp Stomp Films, an independent production company specializing in genre content, which has successfully crowdfunded and produced multiple films. Originally from South Coast Massachusetts, Vincente returned home after years in Los Angeles to help grow the local film community. He is a founding board member and current Tech Director of the New Bedford Film Festival, where he continues to champion independent cinema and regional filmmaking.

Mark Anthony Hardy, Marketing Director
A veteran newcomer to the film industry, Mark Anthony started his career as a Wardrobe Director for “Luna, The Witch” S3 and the TV pilot, “Pickleball is Life: Dill With It!” Since then, he has partnered and joined Angelwood Pictures as a Creative Producer and continues to serves as a wardrobe director for several projects including the TV pilot, “He'll Be Home for Christmas” and series; “Francine, The Fixer Witch” and “Davina, The Deliver Witch,” both being spin-offs of “Luna, The Witch”; “World's Worst Christmas Series,” “World's Worst Thanksgiving Series,” both a part of the World' Worst anthology series; and “Listening In,” a short that he also co-wrote. Currently in post-production, a horror feature, “Sin Eater,” that he has fulfilled the role of Wardrobe Director. He has also been a main sponsor for the festival through his brand agency, Tulip & Stone Media.

Ryan Nunes, Marketing Manager, Publicist
Ryan Nunes is a New England based filmmaker and writer-director whose work highlights mental health, identity, and social issues through intimate, character-driven stories. A graduate of UMASS Dartmouth with a BFA in Digital Media, his short films: After the Beep, Invisible, & A Beautiful Day - have screened across New England and beyond, earning recognition for their emotional depth and honesty. Ryan also serves on the New Bedford Film Festival board, where he continues to champion local voices and foster community through film.

Nick Doyle, NB48 Producer
Nick is primarily an editor (working on projects like "Sweet Freedom," "A Beautiful Day"), but also has experience with writing, producing, and more.

Amy DesRosiers, Award Ceremony Coordinator
Amy DesRosiers is the Marketing Manager for the City of New Bedford Office of Tourism and Marketing. She has a Master of Art in Art History from the Savannah College of Art and Design, and Bachelor of Art in Art History and Bachelor of Art in English, Drama, Literature, and Film Studies from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth.

Alyssa Botelho, Talent Producer
Born and raised in Fairhaven, MA, Alyssa is a writer, director, producer, and actor whose work weaves historical depth with elements of suspense, horror, and wickedly dry New England humor. Her work — including Sweet Freedom and To Dust All Return — has been showcased across New England and recognized with awards such as “Best Short Fiction” and “Best Director” from the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (New England Universities Chapter).

Katie Gregory, Entertainment Manager
Katie Gregory (she/her) is a South Coast native, having grown up in nearby Freetown. A New Bedford resident for the last 15 years, Katie spends her days as New Bedford High's Wraparound Coordinator, where she's lucky enough to help support the community's students and families. By night, she gets to explore another passion of hers: the performing arts, which has been a part of her life since elementary school. After appearing on stage with the UMass Dartmouth Theatre Company, the Laurel Tree Players, and many others, she, along with some of her best friends, helped to launch The Collective NB in 2015. Appearing in almost 50 productions with The Collective NB since their inception a decade ago, she has recently taken over as Executive/Artistic Director and looks forward to continuing to foster relationships with all kinds of artists both in New Bedford and beyond.

Dan Goldsmith, Record Manager
Dan is a DP, an editor, a colorist, a gaffer. He has been freelancing the past two years and have been working in local productions in any captivity. He loves films and obsessed with creating beautiful images.

Lara Harrington, Grant Writer
As an artist and someone who brings people together to celebrate culture and heritage, Lara believes story telling are our most powerful tool. Lara volunteered for the festival last year and was impressed with the caliber of event that it was. At the same time, she noticed some areas that she could be helpful with to improve. She currently serves on several boards and is excited to serve on the NBFF for a creative purpose.
